Verification methods include OTP (SMS / voice / email), domain email, official certificates, phone-number matching, email matching, WhatsApp, and admin review. Every verified listing carries a method tag so downstream agents can reason about trust level.

The directory is read-mostly: most pages are public, no auth required. Write access (claiming a listing, emitting analytics events, updating owner-controlled fields) is gated by scoped Bearer tokens — see `/.well-known/auth.md`.
