Founded in 1999 by Marla and Barry Beck, Bluemercury is a leading national retailer of luxury beauty products and spa services. Initially an e-commerce site, it evolved into a neighborhood boutique concept, offering expert, honest advice on a curated selection of high-end cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances from brands like SkinCeuticals, Nars, and Bobbi Brown. Acquired by Macy's, Inc. in 2015, the chain has expanded to over 184 stores, many of which include in-store spas for services like facials and waxing. Bluemercury is also known for its proprietary brands, the M-61 skincare line and Lune+Aster makeup.
